TnP Law Firm Assisted PT Bumi Resources Tbk in Its Shelf Registration of Bonds

We are delighted to extend our heartfelt congratulations to PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), the world’s largest exporter of thermal coal and a leading player in the global coal industry, on the successful issuance of bonds through a shelf offering with a target fundraising of IDR 5 trillion.

As part of Phase I of its shelf offering, BUMI has completed the issuance of bonds amounting to IDR 350 billion. The proceeds from this initial issuance will be allocated to support the strategic acquisition of Wolfram Limited, an Australian-based gold and copper mining company. This proposed acquisition marks a significant milestone in BUMI’s transformation agenda to diversify its portfolio beyond thermal coal into the downstream and critical minerals sectors.

The transaction was spearheaded by Partners Rambun Tjajo and Ken Prasadtyo, with tremendous support from Associate Partner Brahmantyo Jatiwidianto (Dito), Senior Associate Yonastan Pangestu, and Associate Andrew Jonathan.
