We recently advised PT Krakatau Baja Konstruksi (KBK), as the surviving entity, on a strategic streamlining initiative within the Krakatau Steel Group.
The initiative involved the merger of PT Krakatau Baja Industri, PT Krakatau Perbengkelan dan Perawatan, and PT Krakatau Konsultan into KBK. The transaction forms part of a broader effort to streamline the Krakatau Steel Group’s corporate structure, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen the management of its steel construction, industrial services, maintenance, and consulting businesses.
Partner, Melissa Butarbutar led the team, with support from Senior Associate, M. Yusuf Kenny Adiputra and Associates, Faishal Akbar, Andryan Liandi, and Audrey Vitarizka Suud.
This follows our recent assistance with PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera on its merger with PT Krakatau Jasa Samudera, and we thank the Krakatau Steel Group for its continued confidence in our team. We congratulate all parties involved on the successful completion of this transaction.
