TnP Law Firm is pleased to have advised Bakrie & Brothers (BNBR) in connection with its fifth rights issuance (Rights Issue).
In the Rights Issue BNBR offers up to 89,919,839,078 new Series E shares at an exercise price of IDR 53 per share and PT Bakrie Capital Indonesia acted as the standby buyer. BNBR will raise approximately IDR 4.77 trillion in the Rights Issue.
The use of proceeds will primarily be used to repay certain financing obligations that financed the acquisition Cimanggis-Cibitung Tollroad, which TnP had the privilege to advise the Bakrie Group in acquiring PT Cimanggis Cibitung Tollways. The rest of the proceeds will be used for providing support to BNBR’s subsidiaries involved in strategic energy and toll-road infrastructure projects, and fund BNBR’s working-capital requirements.
