PT DANAREKSA (PERSERO) EFFECTIVELY ACQUIRES PT JALIN PEMBAYARAN NUSANTARA

TJAJO & Partners represents PT Danareksa (Persero) (“Danareksa”) in the acquisition of 67% (sixty-seven percent) of shares of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (Persero) (“Telkom”) in PT Jalin Pembayaran Nusantara (“Jalin”). This acquisition marks another milestone for the establishment of national payment gateway.

The closing ceremony was opened by Gatot Trihargo, Deputy of Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (“SOE”) and attended by various representatives from Danareksa, Telkom, and Groups of State-Owned Banks (Himpunan Bank Milik Negara – “Himbara”). The signing was conducted by Arief Budiman, President Director of PT Danareksa (Persero) and Ririek Adriansyah, President Director of Telkom. Our Partner, Melissa Butarbutar, attended this ceremony on behalf of the firm.

Jalin is a national switching company, based on the initiatives of the Ministry of SOE, Himbara, and Telkom. Currently Jalin serves ATM Switching and Debit Switching with the brand LINK. Jalin has become main stakeholder for banking industries as part of National Payment Gateway system (Gerbang Pembayaran Nasional/ GPN).

The transaction of acquisition was led by Melissa Butarbutar, Partners, and assisted by Associates of Anastasia Nababan, Brahmantyo Jatiwidianto, and Hendrik.
