TnP Law Firm Assisted Mitratel on Strategic Group Streamlining and Restructuring

We are delighted to share the successful completion of a strategic group streamlining and restructuring initiative by PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (Mitratel) involving the merger of its subsidiaries, PT Persada Sokka Tama (PST) and PT Ultra Mandiri Telekomunikasi (UMT), into Mitratel. Under the transaction, PST and UMT acted as the merging entities, while Mitratel continued as the surviving entity.

The consolidation forms part of Mitratel’s broader strategy to enhance the scale and quality of its telecommunications infrastructure portfolio, strengthen its position in the domestic market, and achieve greater operational and financial efficiencies. It is also expected to support the optimisation of colocation opportunities, expand Mitratel’s geographic reach and service coverage, and create long-term value for its shareholders. As PST and UMT were wholly owned subsidiaries of Mitratel, the merger did not result in any dilution or change to Mitratel’s existing shareholding structure.

We were honoured to provide legal counsel and support in connection with this significant transaction. The transaction was led by our Partner, Ken Prasadtyo, with support from Associate Partner, Brahmantyo Jatiwidianto, Senior Associate, M. Eldwin Islamey, and Associates, Faishal Akbar, Farrel Putra Mirzanda, and Andryan Liandi.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Mitratel on the successful completion of this strategic group streamlining and restructuring initiative. We are delighted to have assisted Mitratel in achieving this important milestone and look forward to continuing to support its growth, transformation, and future success.
