Post acquisition of PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk (“Holcim Indonesia”) by PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (“Semen Indonesia”), TJAJO & Partners further assisted Semen Indonesia to acquire another financing round from syndicated financiers. The loan is up to IDR 9 trillion and to be utilized partly to refinance the loan obtain by Semen Indonesia in connection with the acquisition of Holcim and further to finance the implementation of the mandatory tender offer against Holcim’s shares held by public.
The signatory of the Syndicated Loan was being held on 22 July 2019, and signed by Semen Indonesia and the syndicated financiers (to include PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank BTPN Tbk, PT Bank HSBC Indonesia, PT Bank Central Indonesia Tbk, Citibank NA, and MUFG Bank Ltd.
