The recent Asian Legal Business (ALB), September 2019 edition covers M&A Rankings 2019 for Asia’s Best Firms for M&A Work. And for the Indonesia jurisdiction, we are delighted to see that our firm, TJAJO & Partners, is listed as a Notable Firm in this ranking. This is another proud achievement of our firm, in which, we only started Asian the M&A practice two years ago.
Taken from the article of ALB M&A Ranking 2019, that Indonesia saw a significant increase in deal value and fintech is an important sector to watch out. The rapid growth in number of fintech start-ups will continue, and foreign players mainly from China will continue to explore opportunities and seek to further penetrate the market particularly concerning mobile payments.
With the experience and understanding of the current market situation, our firm and lawyers are adept to this business environment. Rambun Tjajo, our Managing Partner, is one of the leadership board members of the Next Indonesia Unicorn (NextICorn) foundation, who also serves as a special staff to the Ministry of Communication and Informatics. NextIcorn is a cooperation between private industry and the government that is facilitating and developing startup companies to be the next unicorns (best startups) in Indonesia, who are ready to receive funding from foreign and domestic investors.
The firm is honored with this ranking, and would also like to thank you for all the support and ALB for this recognition.
